1) Description of Service

The main goal of Players-book is to allow professional teams to search for and find the player(s) that best fit their team and to help professional players to promote themselves towards those teams. Any new features that are added to the service are understood to be governed by these general conditions unless explicitly stated otherwise. You understand and agree that efficient use of our service may depend on the payment of fees for supplementary services including, but not limited to, Internet access and a computer, and that you are responsible for those fees and for ensuring that you have the tools to use the service efficiently.

2) Use of the site

Players-book authorizes you to view and access (limited but free access for players and limited or full access for teams depending on their subscription fee type) the materials at this web site only for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that you include on any copies of the materials the following copyright notice: Copyright ©Players-Book 2010-2020. All rights reserved. You may not modify the materials on Players-book.com in any way or reproduce or publicly display, perform, or distribute or otherwise use them for any public or commercial purpose, except as expressly permitted. For purposes of these general conditions, any use of these materials on any other web site or networked computer environment for any purpose is prohibited. The materials on Players-book.com are copyrighted and any unauthorized use of any materials from Players-book.com may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws. If you breach any of these terms, your authorization to use Players-book.com automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed materials.

3) User submissions

Any material, information or other communication you transmit or post to Players-book.com will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. Players-book and its designees will be free to copy, disclose, distribute, incorporate and otherwise use all data, images, sounds, text, and other objects embodied therein for any and all commercial or non-commercial purposes. You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from Players-book.com any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or other material that would violate any law.

4) Privacy

Your privacy is very important to us. The entire content and information a professional player post on Players-book will exclusively be visible to the professional teams that have registered on Players-book. Registered professional players will only have access to a limited part of other players' profiles, namely to their last name, first name, gender, birthday, nationality and experiences. The entire information a professional team provides when subscribing on Players-book.com will neither be visible by the professional players nor by any other professional teams that registered on Players-book.com.

5) Sharing Your Content and Information

1. By submitting content to our website, you state that you are the owner of or that you have acquired all rights to your submission and content.

2. For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos and videos ("IP content"), you specifically give us the following permission: you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any IP content that you post on or in connection with Players-book ("IP License"). This IP License ends when you delete your IP content or your account unless your content has been shared with others, and they have not deleted it.

3. When you delete IP content, it is deleted in a manner similar to emptying the recycle bin on a computer. However, you understand that removed content may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time (but will not be available to others).

4. You give us the permission to reproduce, use, exhibit, disclose, display, create derivative works and distribute anything received without restriction or obligation of compensation.

5. If you delete your personal account, you won't be able to access it anymore. Your account will persist for a reasonable period of time (but it will not be available to other players anymore) during which you can still get it back by writing us and asking for our permission.

6. We always appreciate your feedback or other suggestions about Players-book, but you understand that we may use them without any obligation to compensate you for them (just as you have no obligation to offer them).

6) Registration and Account Security

Players-book users provide their real names and information, and we need your help to keep it that way. Here are some commitments you make to us relating to registering and maintaining the security of your account:

1. You will not provide any false personal information on Players-book, or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission.

2. You will not use your personal profile for your own commercial gain.

3. You will keep your contact information accurate and up-to-date.

4. You (players) will not share your password, let anyone else access your account, transfer your account to someone else or do anything else that might jeopardize the security of your account.

5. You (teams) will not share your password with anyone outside the team (by "team" we mean members of the official committee as well as the official coach for the respective season) or let anyone outside the team access your account, transfer your account to someone else or do anything else that might jeopardize the security of your account. If any member of the committee or if the coach leaves the team you must change your password and make sure that the person(s) that left the team won't be able to access Players-book.com through your team account anymore.

6. You (players) will use your personal profile with the intention of promoting yourself among the professional teams.
7. You (teams) will use Players-book with the intention of finding the right player(s) for your team.

If you fail in any of these commitments, Players-book has the right to cancel your account and to refuse you any current or future use of our services.

7) Safety

We do our best to keep Players-book safe, but we cannot guarantee it. We need your help to do that, which includes the following commitments:

1. You will not send or otherwise post unauthorized commercial communications (such as spam) on Players-book.
2. You will not collect users' content or information, or otherwise access Players-book, using automated means (such as harvesting bots, robots, spiders, or scrapers) without our permission.
3. You will not upload viruses or other malicious code.
4. You will not solicit login information or access an account belonging to someone else.
5. You will not bully, intimidate, or harass any user.
6. You will not post content that is hateful, threatening, pornographic, or that contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.
7. You will not offer any contest, giveaway, or sweepstakes ("promotion") on Players-book.
8. You will not use Players-book to do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory.
9. You will not do anything that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper working of Players-book.
10. You will not facilitate or encourage any violations of these general conditions.
If you fail in any of these commitments, Players-book has the right to cancel your account and to refuse you any current or future use of our services.

8) Protecting Other People's Rights

We respect other people's rights, and expect you to do the same.
1. You will not post content or take any action on Players-book that infringes or violates someone else's rights or otherwise violates the law.
2. We can remove any content or information you post on Players-book if we believe that it violates these general conditions.
3. If you infringe other people's intellectual property rights, we will disable your account when appropriate.
4. You will not use our copyrights or trademarks, or any confusingly similar marks, without our written permission.
5. You will not post anyone's identification documents or sensitive financial information on Players-book.
If you fail in any of these commitments, Players-book has the right to cancel your account and to refuse you any current or future use of our services.

9) Discount offer (for teams only)

By recommending the Players-book website to other professional basketball teams you can earn discounts on your next annual subscription.
1. If you are a Premium Member, you earn 50€ discount on your next annual premium subscription for every team that subscribes to a premium subscription at Players-book.com on your recommendation. However if you switch to a basic subscription on your next annual subscription, you lose all your potential discounts.
2. As a Premium Member, you can also earn 15€ discount on your next annual premium subscription for every team that subscribes to a basic subscription at Players-book.com on your recommendation. However if you switch to a basic subscription on your next annual subscription, you lose all your potential discounts.
3. If you are a Basic Member, you earn 15€ discount on your next annual subscription for every team that subscribes to a premium or a basic subscription at Players-book.com on your recommendation.
4. As a Premium Member and as a Basic Member you can cumulate discounts as you like but the total discount amount can't exceed the purchase price of the next annual premium subscription. The last discount that would cause the overtaking of that limit won't be taken into consideration.
5. In order to benefit from this offer the team you recommended Players-book.com to has to fill in your team's full name into a field called "Recommended by" when subscribing! Otherwise, there will be no discounts.

10) Online Security

Payment at BNP PARIBAS server in a secured environment. Payment by credit card is secure. You can pay online with confidence entering the number and expiry date of your credit card in the spaces provided for this purpose.

- Information are encrypted with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) which allow you to securely transfer Credit card reference.
so the details of your credit card are never transmitted unencrypted over the network.
Protocol SSL : When you pay online, your browser sends the transaction in a secure mode (https + lock in the bottom right).

- Payment is made directly to the bank.

- BNP does not keep data on its servers. That is why they are called back for each new transaction on our site.

11) Registration, Subscriptions and Payment

Registration is required for the use of our service. Professional basketball players can register and create their professional player profile for free. Teams however have to pay an annual subscription fee in order to gain access to a part of or to the entire Players-book.com database, depending on the subscription type they chose.

You may not re-create any substantial portion of the contents of this site for use with, or as, another site, even if the site is noncommercial in nature. All screens, including graphics and text elements displayed on this web site are protected by Copyright ©Players-Book 2010-2020, unless otherwise specified. All rights reserved. 13) Material

The Service contains information, texts, statistics, photos, videos and other materials and services (called "Materials") that you have at your disposal. While Players-book makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of materials presented within the Players-book website, the user is cautioned: the Materials may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, outdated information, and/or inadequacies. We make no warranties as to the completeness, accuracy, adequacy, or reliability of any Materials and will not be liable for any lack of the forgoing. If you are aware of any information on our website which is factually inaccurate, hurtful or illegal, we argue you to inform us so that we may act straight away to correct this.
